Taking a page from the SEMA show, Suzuki said it will show off three customized Equator trucks at the upcoming 2009 Chicago Auto Show. To tease the curious, it issued an image of a modified Equator by Truckin' magazine. The Truckin' Equator features "a massaged four-cylinder under the hood and a GSX-R sport bike in the bed," said Suzuki. Two other customized Equator pickups from 4-Wheel & Off-Road and Off-road will also make their debut on February 11 in the Windy City. The Equator made its first official appearance last year at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. The Nissan Frontier-based Suzuki Equator gets a standard 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline-4 engine or an optional 261-hp 4.0-liter V6.
